Patrick Wyatt, the longtime vice president of research and development at Blizzard Entertainment and co-founder of ArenaNet, left his former position to join Undead Labs, developer of State of Decay.
Wyatt worked with Jeff Strain, co-founder of Undead Labs, at Blizzard. Wyatt worked as the lead programmer on titles such as Diablo I and II, Warcraft I and II, and Starcraft, and eventually founded the studio responsible for the MMO Guild Wars.
Wyatt will be working with Undead Labs as a programmer, according to his introductory blog, on the studio's future projects.
