With another location test for Ultra Street Fighter 4 slated to happen soon in Taipei, Capcom’s Peter “Combofiend” Rosas took the liberty of posting detailed patch notes for the latest build of the game on Capcom-Unity.
From the looks of it, not a single character is going to go untouched, meaning Ultra SF4 has the potential to feel like a very different game, particularly when you take into account the new mechanics, which are also further detailed in the post. Info about red focus activation, delayed wake-up, and tiered damage scaling for the new W-Ultra mechanic is all laid bare. While much of it will be lost on novice players, intermediate and tournament level players will no doubt find plenty to cheer and lament over, depending on who they typically play.
So did your main character get nerfed or buffed? Sound off in the comments below. For more on Ultra Street Fighter 4 as it approaches its June release, stay tuned to IGN.
