It was announced earlier this month that Homeland's Rupert Friend would replace the late Paul Walker in the title role of Agent 47 in Fox's Hitman reboot.
Today, Deadline reports that Zachary Quinto, Spock in the new Star Trek films, will join the film in an unspecified role.
Deadline also refers to the movie as Agent 47 and calls it a "sequel" rather than a "reboot." The site points out that the 2007 Hitman film, starring Timothy Olyphant (Justified), actually did pretty well overseas, earning $60.2 million of its final $99.96 million gross outside of America.
Considering that FOX International is handling this project, it makes sense that they might not feel the need to label it a "reboot."
Agent 47 begins shooting this March.
