BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma is coming to the PlayStation Vita this Summer in North America, publisher Aksys Games announced today.
Already scheduled for release on PlayStation 3, the 2D fighting game tells the tale of Ragna's the Bloodedge's final mission. The Vita edition of the game will also include an additional story, an enhanced Abyss mode, and will offer the same roster of playable characters as the console version.
According to the press release, the added story in the Vita edition of the game focuses on a day at the beach, with the characters potentially wearing swimsuits. There also is a summary of the events depicted in Calamity Trigger and Continuum Shift, for players who have forgotten the series mythology or who never had the chance to experience it in the first place.
Five playable characters have been added to the original cast, plus two downloadable fighters. Players will be able to unlock Kagura Mutsuki, along with the scientist Kokonoe and Terumi, the series villain.
Above, you'll find video of the PlayStation 3 version of the game being played at TGS 2013. BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma has not yet been rated by the ESRB.
