The Swapper is coming to three new platforms this spring, as the puzzle-platformer was announced today for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita.
In an announcement on the PlayStation Blog, Curve Studios announced it would be porting the Facepalm Games-developed title to PlayStation platforms in "late May." Details on price or any potential changes or improvements in these versions were not shared, although Curve did say it would be a Cross-Buy title on Twitter, meaning that one purchase of the game will provide you with access to it on multiple platforms.
Curve is the developer of games like Stealth Bastard Deluxe, Stealth Inc., and Fluidity. This isn't the first time it's worked to help bring another independent developer's game to PlayStation platforms -- it was also responsible for PlayStation ports of Proteus, Thomas Was Alone, and Lone Survivor.
The Swapper was first released on PC last May and was the first game from Facepalm. It received a great deal of acclaim upon its release, earning a 9.3 in IGN's review, which praised its "ingenious puzzles" and "fully realized science-fiction world."
