Sony has announced a PlayStation 3 bundle coming this spring that includes a copy of LEGO The Hobbit. The bundle will cost $270 and includes a 500GB PS3 with a copy of the upcoming LEGO game.
LEGO: The Hobbit will cover the events depicted in the first two Hobbit films, An Unexpected Journey and The Desolation of Smaug. It's due this spring, presumably alongside the bundle, in anticipation of the final Hobbit film, There and Back Again.
In a hands-on today, IGN occupied the tiny shoes of LEGO Thorin Oakenshield, in an adorably blocky recreation of the Goblin King battle from the first movie. Check out the preview for impressions on venturing back into the LEGO-ified Middle-Earth, complete with all of the mini-games and crafting elements that set LEGO Lord of the Rings apart.
