Weeks after denying the rumors that he was up for the role of Jim Gordon in Gotham, Donal Logue has joined the FOX Batman prequel series -- as Detective Harvey Bullock.
Donal Logue will play Detective Harvey Bullock in Gotham.
The network's official description of Bullock follows: "Jim Gordon’s partner and mentor, the rough-around-the-edges Detective Harvey Bullock plays loose with police procedure, but he gets results … and he does it with old-school, forceful panache."
In the comics, Bullock was an overweight, slovenly, cigar-chomping dirty cop who eventually went straight and was an integral player in Gordon's GCPD.
Donal Logue's many TV credits include Terriers, Sons of Anarchy, Vikings, Copper, and ER. His big screen credits include Blade, The Patriot, Zodiac, Max Payne, and Shark Night 3D.
Danny Cannon (Judge Dredd) will direct the Gotham pilot from a script by Rome's Bruno Heller.
