Moon Knight #1 Preview

Comics superstar Warren Ellis is joined by red-hot artist Declan Shalvey to launch Marvel's Moon Knight #1 on March 5.

“The touchstone for this book, for me, has been ‘Weird Crime.’ Both ground-level action and high strangeness,” Ellis said in an interview with Marvel.com. “This is a take on Moon Knight that unifies all the previous takes, making the character whole and taking him forward into a new kind of crime fiction.”

Ellis wrote Moon Knight during his Secret Avengers run, putting him in a sweet new outfit that ditched the cape in favor of an all-white suit. It looked good on him, and now it appears that he'll go back to that outfit for this new series.
