Rust has sold more than 1 million total units, developer Garry Newman announced today on Twitter.
The game has been available as part of the Steam Early Access program for just under a month. Newman shared the news with his followers by providing a link to a Dropbox image referencing lifetime total units of 1,001,570.
Rust has been updated a few times since arriving on December 11, most notably last week with a patch that removed zombies. Additional changes are in the works.
Currently, Rust is available on Steam for $19.99 USD.
