Far Cry Classic Announced for US

If you missed it in 2004, Crytek's Far Cry is returning to consoles this month with enhanced graphics, cutscenes and a redesigned user interface.

Last month two Far Cry bundles were announced, one for the US and one for Europe, which include Far Cry 2, Far Cry 3, and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. The European bundle also includes Far Cry Classic, but US gamers will have to buy the remake separately.

Far Cry Classic will be available on February 11 for PS3 on the PlayStation Network and for the Xbox 360 on Xbox Live for $9.99. We gave the original Far Cry a review of 9.2, praising its open world and survival gameplay.
