The game lineup for the Evo 2014 Championship Series was revealed yesterday, with Super Smash Bros. Melee still an undetermined game, pending the decision on Nintendo's part.
"While we are engaged in preliminary discussions with Evo about their upcoming event in July, the potential role of any Nintendo software at this event is undetermined at this time," Nintendo told Skoryuken.
Super Smash Bros. Melee was the final game for Evo 2013, as it was determined by a charity drive, the funds of which were donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Leaving out any potential Smash Bros. titles, the existing lineup includes:
- Ultra Street Fighter IV
- Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
- Killer Instinct
- Injustice: Gods Among Us
- King of Fighters XIII
- BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma
This year, the Road to Evo process will unfold differently. Whereas multiple tournaments were designated as stops on the way to the finals last year, the EVO 2014 Championships will factor in results from the year's events to determine seedings. The seedings will determine the participants standings when the tournament takes place July 11-13 in Las Vegas.
