Hotline Miami and Shadow Warrior publisher Devolver has scooped up the intoxicatingly enjoyable Broforce, partnering with Cape Town, South Africa-based developer Free Lives.
A release on Steam Early Access is now slated for March, with a “full PC and console release” promised at some point during the northern hemisphere summer.
With a growing roster of bros inspired by the best ’80s and ’90s action heroes (including Rambro, Brobocop, and Bronan), Broforce is a fast-paced, side-scrolling love letter to anti-terrorist ultraviolence.
If you can’t wait for March you can pick up the Broforce Beta from The Humble Store now for USD$14.99 (which includes Steam keys when available). At the very least, head here to check out the free Broforce Brototype because, seriously, it will put biceps on your beard.
Watch this trailer if you’re not convinced.
