Captain Price Coming to Call of Duty: Ghosts

Update 2: Infinity Ward has confirmed that the upcoming Personalisation Packs including one themed around Captain Price have been delayed slightly.

Originally due out on February 18, the studio has now confirmed that they'll be available on Xbox platforms starting tomorrow, February 20.

Update 1: Infinity Ward has confirmed a range of Personalisation Packs including the Captain Price-themed one outed yesterday will be coming to Call of Duty: Ghosts on Tuesday, February 18 for Xbox One and Xbox 360.

One of Swords reveals the packs will cost $1.99 each and include a weapon camo, a player background, a player patch, and a reticle. The packs are called Circuit, Ducky, Inferno and Space Cats. As the names suggest, they're a little less conventional from the ones that have come before.

Alongside this, you'll also be able to deck your squad members out like the characters from Ghosts' single-player mode. Keegan, Merrick, Elias and Hesh skins will all be available for $1.99 each. An Extra Slots Pack will also allow you to have 10 loadouts per squadmate rather than the standard six, if you pay $1.99.

Finally, the Captain Price Legend Pack will give you the character skin, a weapon camo, a player background, a player patch, and reticle in one pack for $3.99. And the reticle is Price's moustache. Incredible.

Original Story: Infinity Ward is teasing that Modern Warfare star Captain Price is set to make an appear in Call of Duty: Ghosts before too long.

A tweet from the developer bearing the words "Price is Coming" has led to a flurry of speculation that the former-COD star is set to resurface in future DLC for the latest entry in Activision's shooter franchise.

In the image above he's pictured on the multiplayer map Stonehaven, lending credence to the idea that he's set to join the roster as a downloadable multiplayer skin, just as Simon "Ghost" Riley did for those who pre-ordered.

YouTuber TWiiNSANE did some digging and, though the video has since been taken down by Activision, he claims a personalisation pack is on the way on February 18, that'll include a Price-themed player skin, weapon camo, reticle, patch, playercard and background.

Is it legit? Thankfully, we won't have long to wait before finding out.
